Finally ... REALLY, REALLY GOOD NEWS ... after several stressful days, tons of tests and countless doctor visits, the doctor gave Julie the results of her PET and CT scans today - no sign of any cancer anywhere!!! The spots on her lung and spine are gone!! Usually you don't hear "Good" and "Chemo" in the same sentence, but you will here - all that nasty poison did the trick!!!So she is NED - no evidence of disease!!! She will have check ups every six months, has to continue her monthly Zometa infusion for 5 years, and take Tamoxifen the rest of her life - but she is cancer free!!! She can't have reconstruction for at last a year, so she has time to decide which route she wants to take on that.
So we will be very busy this week ... celebrating ... in Vegas!!! Wish us luck ... this is our lucky week so we hope to hit it big in Vegas too!!
