0 Graduation ... and a new beginning!!!

I apologize for this short post ~ but this is going to be a very, very busy week. As you all know Julie is headed down to Seattle for her first six month check up ... so that alone is stressful.

BUT the BIG NEWS of the week is that Jessica ~ my wonderful, adorable, very lovable granddaughter (and Julie's pride and joy) is graduating from Portland State University on Saturday!!! Graduation is not the end however ... it is actually the beginning of the next new chapter in her life. We are all so proud of her ... she has done an amazing job even through all the stress and adversity of her mom's battle with cancer and has grown into a fabulous young women. We are all beaming with pride!!

After the big celebration party on Saturday afternoon ... "just us girls" are off to Las Vegas for four luxurious days!!! We all deserve this special vacation after the year we have had and we intend to enjoy it to the fullest. Of course, as you all know ... the estrogen will be flowing heavily, so hopefully we will all still love each other after four days together.

I promise to post pictures of Jess' graduation and the party as soon as life gets back to normal. I am not making any promises on pictures from Vegas however ... remember what happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas!!!
