Those of you that know us and read this blog, know that our family has been 'hit' with cancer a lot through the years...my mom and dad both lost their battle with lung cancer, several aunts and uncles battled cancer through the years, we have lost friends to cancer and have friends that are cancer survivors. I am a breast cancer survivor and my daughter is a survivor of Inflammatory Breast Cancer.Cancer Sucks!
But....there is nothing worse than a child with cancer....it always breaks my heart and brings tears to my eyes when I hear about a child suffering with cancer or when a parent loses a child to this devastating disease. It was so hard to have an adult child go through cancer...I just can not imagine how the parents and families of these little ones do it.
