It amazes me how dependent I have become to the computer and the Internet...or perhaps addicted is a more appropriate word.
I did want to give you a short update on Julie however....she continues to thrive and is living life to the fullest. She is back to her old self and just reading her 'to do list' wears me out! As a mom, I tell her to take time to rest...and as a child, she resists. Mothers and daughters have that problem and we are no exception. I know we are both thankful though that the other one is around to banter with.
She has plans in place to begin her reconstruction surgeries.....yep, surgeries. For those of you that don't know about breast reconstruction...there are numerous surgeries....all months apart, and this process will take about a year. But she is ready for the challenge and we will update you more as the date approaches and the doctors have finalized their plans.
In the meantime, I am off to finish watching the Olympics. The USA has made us proud this year. I am in awe of all of the athletes, their touching stores, and their amazing abilities from all the countries....even though I am rooting for the good old US of A!!
Happy Sunday to all! Jan
