This is such a beautiful time of year...I love the fall colors and the crisp cold mornings. We are readying the house for winter....getting ready for Thanksgiving....and playing Christmas Caroles to lift our spirits....and unfortunately the blog has taken a back-seat to all of my other community fund raising projects these past few weeks. I apologize to my faithful readers and promise to do better.It has been a whirlwind couple of weeks at our house....we have put our house up for sale...finally making the decision to downsize. It was a hard decision to make but now that it has been made we are waiting for the perfect people to come and purchase our perfect house. With that comes the joy of searching for a new, smaller, easy-to-care-for home. So our weekends have been full, to say the least.
Julie has been busy too....she is getting ready to go on vacation to Mexico (see her new do) and then will be stopping off in Seattle on her way home for her check up with her oncologist and other docs. We know she will receive good news - cancer still staying away!! We will drive up to Seattle for a day visit with them and do a little holiday shopping too.
So, like I said, I will try to be better and post to the blog more often, but right now I am off to....write the blog for Altrusa, finishing the paperwork on our poinsettia sales, and tallying up how many Toy Wagon raffle tickets we have sold. I am thanking God for the wind and rain storm today.....it is keeping me in the house so all these projects can get some attention.
