This Is My Week .... To Think Pink!!

This week I have been doing a ton of "pink ribbon" things. We sold 48 bears for our Relay for Life fundraiser. My hubby sold the majority - to, can you believe it, truck drivers. I will never stereotype truck drivers again!! They are a sensitive bunch of guys who have wives, girlfriends, daughters, sisters and mothers who have been diagnosed with breast cancer. Thanks a ton fellas!! It is so appreciated!

Another thing I have been doing is clicking on the link to give free mammograms for women in need. Please join me. Your click on the "Click Here to Give" button helps fund free mammograms for women in need like low-income, inner-city and minority women whose awareness of breast cancer and opportunity for help is often limited. Just click on the title of this post and it will bring your right to the site.

Your click is paid for by site sponsors, and mammogram funding is provided to clinics throughout the U.S. through the efforts of the National Breast Cancer Foundation. With a simple, daily click of the pink "Click Here to Give - it's FREE" button at The Breast Cancer Site, visitors help to provide free mammograms for women in need. Visitors pay nothing. Mammograms are provided by our charitable partners. Please try to click every day to fund free mammograms and give hope to women in need. Every click counts toward the goal of early detection, which allows for the best possible treatment options.

Well I am off to do more fund raising - my goal is to find a cure - not only for cancer, but specifically for Inflammatory Breast Cancer!! Again, please join me - donate to my Relay for Life page or buy a bear - see my links in the margin. Join a cancer walk, send a check to the American Cancer Society, help someone who is battling breast cancer right now. Do your part - you will be a better person because of it.

Many blessings and please THINK PINK!! Jan
